When Death From Above 1979s singing stickman Sebastien Grainger announced the upcoming release of his second solo album a few weeks ago, careful observers of his post-DFA 1979-break-up/pre-reunion activities would have noticed something different namely, the words '& The Mountains' are conspicuously missing from the album s artwork. The Mountains was the name of the burly power trio that backed up Grainger on his power-popped 2008 release, but his current forays into electro-funk seemingly dont require the bands amped-up attack.

While drummer Leon Taheny has since gone on to collaborate with Holy Fucks Brian Borcherdt in Dusted, the remaining Mountains bassist/vocalist Nick Sewell and guitarist/keyboardist Andrew Scott are now making an unholy, roadhouse-rockin racket in Biblical.
