In an increasingly globalized world, student migration is a major phenomenon, revealing both individual aspirations and structural imbalances between countries. The new Algeria of today, with over 47 million inhabitants, can no longer remain a simple collection of individuals weakly linked horizontally and vertically. At a time when the country is facing major challenges - economic, social, environmental and geopolitical - it is imperative to strengthen national cohesion. Building the Algeria of tomorrow means building a united society, aware of its collective responsibilities, and confident in its institutions. Social cohesion and attachment to one's country can be the answer to sustainable student migration. Thus, social cohesion appears as a strategic lever to foster talent retention, by reinforcing a sense of belonging, inclusion, and confidence in the future within the country.
