Used as a pocket travel guidebook, the information is by necessity highly condensed and unavoidably, perhaps intentionally, partial. There is a focus on what can be accessed in museums and public spaces as well as in print, primarily catalogues and books. The title of the exhibition refers to a portrait of a sober, middle-aged gorilla shown in the Spanish pavilion at the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009. Introductory text by Catherine Lampert.
