Jazz Sacred and Secular was one of the best known Chris Barber LPs, despite being only originally issued as a 10" album in the 1950s. It was reissued as a 12" in the 1960s and has since been much sought after. The band is the original line-up which included Lonnie Donegan and Monty Sunshine. The extra tracks include three previously unissued tracks, together with five tracks recorded during the band's first barnstorming tour of Denmark in 1954.
