Buster Bloodvessel, one of the biggest characters in Ska, has stayed loyal to the music and has become as influential as he is entertaining. This CD captures the bands best recordings from his late great Blue Beat Records label, including the best tracks from the "Return Of The Ugly" and "Eat The Beat" albums. Also included are the Blue Beat re-workings of Bad Manners biggest hits "Lip Up Fatty" (UK No.15 in 1980) and "Special Brew" (UK No.3 in 1980) which is currently being used for the Cadburys TV advertising campaign for their chocolate biscuit Jestive. There are also four excellent quality live recordings including versions of the hits "Samson And Delilah" (UK No.58 in 1982), "Lorraine" (UK No.21 in 1980), and "Can Can" (UK No.3 in 1981) which is also being used for a TV advert for a new truck!
