A street culture mixed with a sophisticated sense of 'savoir-dire' at any occasion, transports the reader from seriously dark moments peppered with light doses of Lower East Side humor, into unexpectedly deep thoughts but without falling into the grim traps of a serie noire genre or rushing for the chocolate box. Greed, machinations, betrayals and genuine love are scattered along the alleys of this fast and invigorating journey.
