The aim of this study was to analyze the relevance of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the continuing education of elementary school mathematics teachers, highlighting how these tools can contribute to improving teaching practices and building more innovative and meaningful teaching. The specific objectives were: a. To discuss the continuing training of math teachers in the use of communication and information technologies; b. To make an inventory of the publications available on the CAPES Journal Portal that deal with the continuing education of mathematics teachers and the use of ICTs; c. To identify, in these productions, innovative proposals with the use of ICTs for the teaching of mathematics.
