THE GOD OF TOMORROW

THE GOD OF TOMORROW

0 - Default Title
Description
A priest is found dead in a confessional.
Anchorage homicide detective Eddie Vaugner gets the case.
In his off-duty life, Eddie is a widowed amputee raising his eleven-year-old son, Daniel, who is in remission from leukemia. Daniel's high risk of relapse, however, makes his long-term prognosis grim.
To Eddie, the priest's death seems suspicious. Then, an impossible theory of the case arises-quantum entanglement. But how could anyone use what Einstein called "spooky action at a distance" to kill someone?
The case introduces Eddie to Rebecca Raven, M.D., an assistant medical examiner who stirs in Eddie the spookiest action of all-the hope of love.
Eddie's investigation and his son's illness lead to Dr. Grayson Lange, a brilliant surgeon with a dark past and a possible motive. As two more deaths occur, Grayson becomes Eddie's main suspect and Daniel's favorite doctor.
THE GOD OF TOMORROW combines a hard-boiled procedural and medical thriller to explore the boundaries between science and the supernatural, justice and revenge, and faith and doubt.
QUANTUM NOIR: where sardonicism and hope exist in superposition.
