Un jeune rêveur qui, dans son quotidien, croyait à un avenir radieux quoique victime d'un manque d'éducation scolaire. Sa rencontre avec Mamadjibeye quintuplera son rêve : être le plus grand agro-pastoral de son pays. Celle-ci devient soudainement sa seule raison de vivre ; les récits prouveront que l'Homme, quelle que soit sa nature, n'a jamais été le maître de son destin : peu importe la prudence dont il fera usage, les aléas de la vie ont aussi leurs derniers mots. Ndingarom perd Mamadjibeye et son bébé suite à un avortement manigancé par deux jeunes filles ignorantes de la valeur d'une vie humaine. Justement, c'est par faute d'éducation. L'injustice, mensonge, solitude et irréflexion pousseront le héros du roman à s'exiler tout en le forçant à tisser une alliance avec un monde différent de celui dont il rêvait : il sera habillé d'une blouse schizophrénique. Un rêve qui s'envole faute d'inattention des adultes.
In a continent where the cradle of civilization resides, there is a country called Bélédjé, an imaginary country lost in the continental abyss; if not a country where the grandfather of humanity had lived. It is this country that Arthur Rimadoum, in his pensive experiences, presents the experiences of an entire people by highlighting a narrative whose hero is called Ndingarom. A young dreamer who, in his daily life, believed in a bright future despite being the victim of a lack of school education. His encounter with Mamadjibeye will quintuple his dream: to be the greatest agro-pastoralist in his country. This suddenly becomes his only reason for living; the stories will prove that Man, whatever his nature, has never been the master of his destiny: no matter how prudent he may be, the vagaries of life also have their last words. Ndingarom loses Mamadjibeye and her baby following an abortion engineered by two young girls ignorant of the value of a human life. Precisely, it is due to a lack of education. Injustice, lies, loneliness, and thoughtlessness will push the novel's hero into exile while forcing him to forge an alliance with a world different from the one he dreamed of: he will be dressed in a schizophrenic blouse. A dream that flies away due to the inattention of adults.
