EVALUATION AND STATISTICAL STUDY OF METAL AND MICROBIOLOGICAL POLLUTION IN OUED LARBAA AND ITS MAIN TRIBUTARIES, TAZA REGION (MOROCCO).The present study is a multidisciplinary analysis carried out in the Oued Larbaa watershed, which covers an area of 772.9 km² and is bounded by a perimeter of 180.6 km. It is part of the study and assessment of the environmental quality of Oued Larbaa and its main tributaries (Oued Jaouna, Oued Dfali and Oued Taza), Taza region (Morocco). The study was divided into five sections, each focusing on one of the following themes- Assessment of the hydrochemical quality of the environment and its suitability for irrigation.- Assessment of the physicochemical and mineralogical quality of the Oued Larbaa's surface sediments.- Estimation of the degree of metallic contamination of water and sediments.- Assessment of the microbiological quality of Oued Larbaa surface waters. - Distribution of microbial pollution indicator organisms in response to various ecosystem disturbances.
