Riding with Ol' Mosby

Riding with Ol' Mosby

0 - Default Title
Description
If ever there was a musician who embodied the image of free spirited independent Mountain Man it was Virginia-born Jimmy Arnold (1952-1992) - one of the most acclaimed Bluegrass musicians of the 1970s and early '80s, partiarly for his mastery of the banjo. In his often wild, too short life he learned from legends and became one himself. The long overdue compilation includes tracks from three superb Rebel albums (two of them never released on CD) and also includes three previously unissued tracks. It's about time this material was heard again. Tracks: Little Rock Getaway / Panhandle Rag / The Entertainer, Maple Leaf Rag / My Home's Across The Blue Ridge Mountains / Rainbow Ride / Doin' My "Thang" / Boarman's Way / M Street Rag / If* / Jesse James / Swanee River / Doc Harris' Hornpipe / Tra Blues* / Tommy Jarrell / General Lee / Wildwood Casket* / Bye Bye Blues. *Previously unissued
