It's 1986, and eighteen-year-old Donny Harper and his family are scheduled to leave their quaint hometown at the end of the summer for the bright lights of the big city, a decision that is not sitting well with Donny. As the summer unfolds, he and his four best friends deal with the reality that their lives are changing, and their time together is nearing an end.
