Craig Armstrong's musical talents know no bounds, whether composing classical pieces, writing film scores, recording his own solo albums or collaborating with the likes of Madonna; it is all simply music. After studying at the Royal Academy of music & winning "Young Jazz Musician of The Year" at an early age. Craig has managed to work on some of the most high profile projects of recent times, be that in composition or collaboration. His most notable film scores include Baz Luhrmanns "Romeo & Juliet" for which he won a Bafta as well as an Ivor Novello, "Moulin Rouge" for which he again won an Ivor Novello & more recently he composed the score for "Love Actually." o In the world of popular music he has become one of the world's most sought composers & arrangers having worked with such diverse acts as U2, Massive Attack & the Spice Girls. The album features 19 beautifully crafted piano pieces & also includes two tracks he wrote with Massive Attack, "Heatmiser 2" & "Weather Storm" as well as "Satine's Theme" from Moulin Rouge & "Morning Breaks" from Romeo & Juliet.
