How are wars experienced by today's media? And what are the moral implications resulting from this? These questions where addressed in the exhibition "My War", where artists were invited to deal with the media communication of wars. The works presented in the exhibition, can be roughly divided into two strands. Firstly, the works have a radically subjective, individualistic approach to the subject, e.g. the artist Renzo Martens addresses the camera in the midst of a combat zone. Personal experiences and their placement are in the foreground. A second group of artists explores the way that web technologies have infiltrated and influenced global wars. [Text in German]
