Description
After many years abroad, the painter Gabrielle to her hometown in Normandy to participate in the opening of a retrospective of her paintings. In her room in the hotel 'Zu den zwei Leoparden', memories come alive in her of people and events of her youth, the time of the German occupation of France. There is her mother, who lived in a lesbian relation after the early death of the father; however, there is above all her best friend, who mysteriously disappeared during the war, presumably denuted by her own brother, who - now one of the most influential men in the city - has stimulated Gabrielle's work show.
