Hollywood on the Tiber Vol. 1: An American in Rome - 250 U.S. Actors in Italian Cinema, 1950-1990 is the first of its kind to compile all of these profiles into one book, one which tells the stories of the performers, their domestic careers and a specific regard to their Italian dalliances. It is a collection of historical nuggets which can either be read from cover to cover or dipped into on impulse. Michelle Alexander is a film historian specializing in European horror and exploitation cinema of the 1960s-1980s. She has written for various print and online publications including Weng's Chop and Deep Red and has had essays published in the books Lost Girls: The Phantasmagorical Cinema of Jean Rollin and The Amityville Movie Guide. She lives in Melbourne, Australia.
Allen C. Kupfer was an author, musician and retired English and Film Professor. His published works include a variety of genres and subject matter, including the novels Double Crossfire (1988, as Allen Conrad), The Journal of Dr. Abraham Van Helsing (2004) and A Meal to Die For (2006) and various short stories in and adjacent to the Dungeons & Dragons universe. He passed away in 2024 while nearing completion of Hollywood on the Tiber.
Robert Monell is a film historian and film critic who's contributed to various publications worldwide, including Soledad Arts Journal and Midnight Tales. His wide-ranging work also includes fiction, essays, monographs, screenplays and movie reviews. Robert has also participated in commentary tracks on Blu-ray and DVD. He lives in Syracuse, USA.
