Description
[Emotionalization - Moralization - Radicalization. Theological Contributions]
The concepts of emotionalization, moralization and radicalization are used to address phenomena in social and academic communication contexts that have made objective discourse difficult for many years (and increasingly so in the last ten years or so), promote divisions between (groups of) people and make pharisaism acceptable - including in church and theology. The ten contributions propose constructive approaches for explaining, differentiating and correcting ideological aberrations in general and in exemplary special issues. The volume provides evidence that ideological criticism is not only an enduring core task, but also a core competence of theological scholarship, especially when it (once again) dares to argue explicitly theologically.
