Alessia Ferrarini is a graduate of the Venice University Institute of Architecture, with a research doctorate in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Le Marche. Her publications include Forme e icone del moderno. La stazione e i treni nell'immaginario collettivo, Pendragon 1999. A contributor to various publications in Italy and abroad-Trame, Working Papers, Quaderni di Alice, Edilizia Popolare-she has also worked as an assistant lecturer in Aesthetics at the Venice University Institute of Architecture.
