Die Große Pest von London im Jahre 1665
0 - Default Title
Description
Until now hardly any scientific analysis has been carried out to investigate the possible relationship between people's living conditions and the increased danger of infection by the plague. In order to close this research gap, the author of this thesis is going to specifically focus on 17th century London and pest mortality during the Great Plague of 1665. In this context, the not only extensive quantative analysis, but also a number of detailed qualitative case studies on various London parishes will be carried out. Thereby, the author is going to focus particularly on the living conditions in relation to affluency levels in the parishes and investigates their possible influence on pest mortality.
