These lies are not falsehoods in the conventional sense; instead, they serve as masks that conceal the processes of transformation. Humans are inclined to create narratives that infuse our lives with meaning and purpose. They aim to transcend the ordinary situation to improve living conditions. Without these central myths, humanity would be adrift and lacking direction, and our journey towards modern civilization would be incomplete. This highlights the vital role of noble lies in establishing a sense of order and direction in our complex societies.
