What to do with a scarred uterus is one of the most debated topics in modern obstetrics, due to the considerable increase in caesarean delivery rates.Aim: The aim of our work was to study deliveries with a scarred uterus in the gynecology and obstetrics department at the hospital in Mopti.Methodology: We conducted a descriptive cross-sectional study from September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022 at the Sominé Dolo Hospital in Mopti.Results: During the study period, we recorded 126 cases of delivery on scar uteri out of 2029 deliveries, i.e. an overall frequency of 6.2%. The 20-35 age group was the most represented in our study, with a mean age of 27.51 years and extremes of 18 and 45 years respectively.Uterine testing was indicated in 60.31% of parturients in our study, with a success rate of 68.4%. Caesarean section was performed in 31.6% of cases where uterine testing failed. Indications were dominated by acute fetal distress and dynamic dystocia. We noted 1 case of maternal death (1.3%) due to haemorrhage.
