The Fusée 4 EdExcel Assessment Pack accompanies the Key Stage 4 part of the Fusée French course. It ties the course in with the precise requirements of the new EdExcel GCSE specifications with assessment activities on the topics covered in the main Fusée course, along with a listening cassette, teacher's notes, marking schemes and answers..Fusà e 4 is the Key Stage 4 part of the Fusà e French course and is due to publish in April 2002. The two-tiered book is designed to be used with any exam board for the new GCSE specifications.
To tie the course more closely in with the particular specification chosen by each school, there will be three separate Fusà e 4 Assessment Packs, one for each of the three main boards, to be used alongside both levels of Fusà e 4 (Foundation and Higher). The material will be written by the main authors, Genevià ve Talon and Alan Wesson, in consultation with examiners from each of the boards. Each pack will contain a 112-page photocopiable booklet and an accompanying cassette of listening material.

The booklet will feature four sets of practice activities - one for every 5 units of the book - at Foundation and Higher levels (including overlap material), covering the four skills of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, as well as suggestions for coursework opportunities. There will also be teacher's notes, giving answers, mark schemes and transcripts to the activities as appropriate.
