The study examines the impact of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in promoting healthcare delivery in Dalori IDP Camp, Borno State, between 2015 and 2017. Triggered by the Boko Haram insurgency, thousands of displaced persons faced poor access to food, shelter, and medical services. The NAF, through its Medical Services Branch, launched several medical outreaches and emergency hospitals, offering treatments for malaria, typhoid, eye disorders, maternal health, and immunization. It also trained local health workers on family planning and emergency care, significantly improving health outcomes in the camp. Despite challenges such as insecurity, inadequate funding, and shortage of skilled personnel, the NAF's interventions enhanced the wellbeing of IDPs and strengthened civil-military relations. The research concludes that sustained collaboration between the NAF, NGOs, and government agencies is crucial for improving humanitarian healthcare delivery in conflict-affected regions of Nigeria.
