Utility Power Steadiness Evaluation using Transmission Circuit Enhancement Technologies

0 - Default Title
Description
Numerous methods of electrification due to scientific improvement have shown the way to continuous development and growth of the electric power system over the last hundred years. The recent electric power system is responsible for generation, transmission and distribution of energy sources. Due to this widespread growth, the complication and issues in the electric power system has developed to a superior level. To overcome the issues in the electric power system, a new innovative controller has to be designed and stabilized the complex system. Several computer aided tools are used to evaluate the features of monitoring, control and operation functions. The computer based monitoring technology such as Control Centres, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Independent System Operations (ISO), etc. progressively improves the performance of the electric power systems. This research work focuses on improving the performance of the power system stability by using different controllers. As discussed earlier, Generation, Transmission, and distribution are the main stages in Power systems. In the first stage, synchronous generators or Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) were used to generate the electric power. Then the transformer is used to reduce the line currents and power transmission losses in the transmission stage.
