The book gives a clear picture of Almajiri system of education in Nigeria, the challenges bedevilling the system and made suggestions on how to transform it into an effective system of education. The book also highlighted the abuses meted out to the Almajiris, and should be useful to individuals, organisations, agencies and relevant authorities who have the zeal for protecting children's rights and promoting their access to formal education.
