Rural villages adjacent Alexandria City contain a large number of barns discharge parts of their waste to the drainage system. This leads to several problems as the permanent blockage in the pipes , broken and the faster consumption of the network. This effect extends to the treatment plant serving these regions, which lead to the destruction in the treatment process and the consumption of large quantities of the spare parts in a short time, resulting in an increase in the cost of treatment. In order to maintain the current project of drainage systems, pumping stations and treatment plant, it is appropriate to construct sedimentation tanks . The economic feasibility of the sedimentation tanks represented in the possibility to take sludge as fertilizer for agriculture, the possibility of setting up a project to generate energy in these villages (bio gas),preserving the lifetime of the drainage network and treatment plant .
