Themed rooms inspired by pop culture, inspiring individuals or maverick musicians, Pelirocco is a hotel unlike any other in the UK. Jamie Reid, Rough Trade Records, Asian Dub Foundation, Hysteric Glamour, Pussy and Skint Records are just a few of the people that have put their thumbprint on one of the 19 specially themed rooms. Additionally, Pelirocco now features a cheeky new room called the "Nookii Room" for all your dirty weekend cravings.

The album featuring 20 tracks specially selected by Pelirocco visionaries and proprietors Mick Robinson and Jane Slater with help from the OST boys, aims to give the feel of the hotel from dawn to dusk. "Listening to the CD should be like 24 hours at Hotel Pelirocco," says Jane. "Wake up and have breakfast to the lush strings of Henry Mancini. Relax and reflect on Ahmad s Back In The Day. Drink a large bloody mary to The Damned. Party again to Primal Scream and The Scissor Sisters. Then, off to bed and warm your cockles with Les Fleurs."

Legendary artist and agitator Jamie Reid the man who stuck a safety pin through the Queen s nose in the days of The Sex Pistols -- designed the artwork for the compilation. He also put his trademark touch to the hotel in Jamie Reid s Magic Room, complete with "No Future" wallpaper, as well as designing the hotel s logo.
