The Target (Will Robie Series)

Will Robie and Jessica Reel have been assigned to work together on a new mission. They need to eliminate a North Korean general who's trying to stage a coup. American officials are afraid that the general would be an even more volatile and dangerous leader than Kim Jong-un. At the same time, Reel faces a personal crisis. Her father, a white supremacist serving time in a maximum security prison, is now on his deathbed. He blames his daughter for betraying him, and even in his final days, is determined to find a way to make her pay for her disloyalty.
