JÜRGEN STURM has so far been known as front man, guitarist and lead vocalist of his two classic rock bands ROCKING DADDIES and ACOUSTIC STORM, both based in Tübingen in the south of Germany. With „ACOUSTIC PASTIMES” JÜRGEN STURM has now recorded his first solo CD, which was mixed, mastered and produced in the spring and early summer of 2006 by his son Stefan, who is himself an acknowledged musician, MC and producer with the production company Jiggy Joint. „ACOUSTIC PASTIMES“ contains 13 of JÜRGEN STURM’S own songs in acoustic versions. Lyrical and poetic, they take the listener on an easy-going tour through a classic rock dreamland. Some songs remind of the classical rock ballads, others carry a clear bluesy note in the best of British and American tradition.
