{"product_id":"brothers-burrito-flying-the-honky-tonk-nights-5413992501601","title":"Honky Tonk Nights","description":"Launched by the late, great Gram Parsons and Chris Hillman, both of whom had just left the Byrds after recording Sweetheart Of The Rodeo, one of the first and best Country-Rock albums ever, the Flying Burrito Bros virtually invented the blueprint for Country-Rock, thereby forging the link between the two musical genres. The band can be described as legendary, not only for their longevity but also for the consistently high quality of music and the numerous fine musicians who played in the group, many of them, such as Chris Etheridge, Skip Battin, Sneaky Pete, Gib Guilbeau, Joe Scott Hill, Gene Parsons \u0026amp; John Beland, featured here. Honky Tonk Nights is a double album collection of which disc one was recorded in the mid-seventies, and features pedal steel master \"Sneaky Pete Kleinow and bass player Chris Ethridge, two of the original band members initially recruited by Parsons and Hillman, and thus a guarantee of authenticity. The two original Burritos are joined by drummer Gene Parsons, another BYRD-escapee, vocalist and guitar player Joel Scott Hill, formerly with Canned Heat, and Floyd 'Gib' Guilbeau who plays guitar and fiddle, and is also an excellent singer. Disc two features the recordings that, in 1980, led to the band being signed to Curb Records and are very rare. Besides Kleinow and Guilbeau they feature yet another ex-Byrd, bassist Skip Battin, and the talented vocalist, guitarist and songwriter John Belland, who went on to lead the Burritos until 1987.","brand":"Music Avenue (H'Art)","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53495980327254,"sku":null,"price":0.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0925\/5829\/5382\/files\/product_image_5413992501601_1_9dd98ed0-c680-4604-98d1-4cc1521c2100.jpg?v=1781682966","url":"https:\/\/www.momoxbooks.com\/products\/brothers-burrito-flying-the-honky-tonk-nights-5413992501601","provider":"momoxbooks","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
