About 37.68% of the health-care workers had fair knowledge regarding HCWM, 90% knew segregation of waste at source, 83.63% knew disinfection of waste before disposal, proper HCWM was practiced by 39.15% and segregation of waste at source into coloured bins was followed by 23.3% of the workers. HCWM facilities at the health centres including display of waste management policy were poor.
